Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to my blog! My goal for this series is to offer helpful tools and insight to solving common problems in alternative middle schools. These posts will be created based off fact sheets made for an alternative middle school in west Michigan. Each sheet discusses a different type of problem faced in alternative middle schools, and offers observation and research-based solutions to each.

Topics covered will include bullying and harassment, hitting, unwanted touching, time management, study habits, and much more. If you have any questions, comments, or topics you would like to see covered, please comment and let me know. I hope this blog will serve as a tool for alternative middle schools, and more importantly, the parents of students within alternative middle schools. I will post as often as I can to ensure new information is always available. Thank you for viewing this, and happy reading!
